Spina bifida: A birth defect in the spinal column through which the spinal cord may protrude.Raynaud's phenomenon: Changes in skin color due to spasm of small blood vessels especially with exposure to cold.
Arachnoiditis: Inflammation of the middle (arachnoid mater) of 3 linings of the spinal cord and the subarachnoid space containing the cerebrospinal fluid.
Paget's cells: Extensively proliferating cancerous epithelial cells seen in the epidermis.
Ankylosing spondylitis: A form of arthritis involving the joints of the spinal column.
