Contraceptive: Prevents pregnancy

Contraception: Birth control; deliberate prevention of the conception of offspring by any of various means.

Ovulation: The release of an egg from the ovary

Ovaries: Female reproductive organs that produce eggs and hormones.

Intrauterine device (IUDs): A contraceptive device made of plastic or metal that is inserted into the uterus
