Elaborating on the issue, S M Balaji, Secretary General, ISDR, said it was a sad situation that no one had clained the research grant. "As the scope for research was huge, and the need higher, the Indian dentists come forward and use opportunities from associations like these," he stressed.
The Indian Society for Dental Research (ISDR) is one of the leading bodies representing dentists in India. The society is the brainchild of Prof M Rahmatulla, who conceived its formation in 1984 and set the ball in motion in 1986.
