Jyoti Amge, who is the world's shortest woman, has no intention of allowing her size to prevent her from fulfilling her dreams. The 18-year-old, who is just 2ft 0.7in tall, has already appeared in a Bollywood movie and said that she now plans on pursuing a career in Hollywood.
"I am proud of being small. I have the same thoughts and the same dreams as you," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling the Sun.
"I would like to be an actress in Hollywood and win an Oscar. The only difference is my height," she said.
Amge, who spoke through an interpreter, is currently promoting the launch of the 2013 edition of the Guinness World Records book.
The teenager, from Nagpur, India, has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia, which stopped her growing after her first birthday.
Amge has brittle bones and is likely to need care for the rest of her life.
