Women can Have Healthy Babies Even After Repeated Miscarriages
Nearly one-fifth of pregnancies result in a miscarriage, and experts reassure such women to not worry too much as they can have healthy babies.
Often there is no real cause behind a miscarriage and couples should keep trying instead of losing hope.

Two recent studies which analyzed the outcomes of women with unexplained repeated miscarriage found that two-thirds of the 1000 women studied, were able to bear atleast one child.

Another study conducted in Netherlands showed that among 213 women, nearly 80% had children after trying for two years.

Dr Stefan Kaandorp, who led this Dutch research, said: "Our results mean that women with recurrent miscarriage can be reassured that their time to a subsequent conception is not significantly longer than that for fertile women without a history of miscarriage. Recurrent miscarriage is extremely stressful for these women and we hope that our study will give them hope and encourage them to keep trying for the baby they want so much."
