A study by Paris School of Economics has revealed that winning jackpots may not be good for people and may in fact reduce lifespan.
The study involved 8,000 people who won big jackpots between 1994 and 2005. The researchers found that winning big led to serious long-term health problems because a jackpot winner has multiple party invites as well as ample opportunity to indulge in social drinking.
