The apparent suicide attempt by comic actor Owen Wilson has caused problems for the promotion and marketing of his latest movie "The Darjeeling Limited".
"This is going to have a tremendous impact on the film's marketing. If you take Wilson out of the mix, it's not just the loss of a leading man, it would severely impact the movie's brand identity," contactmusic.com quoted Chris Thilk of Movie Marketing Madness as saying.Whenever Wilson comes out to promote the film, he will have to face questions about his suicide attempt.
Celebrity publicist Howard Bragman said if Wilson does decide to grant interviews, he should do a high-profile interview and then dismiss any further questions from journalists saying he has already addressed the issue and wants to move on.
