Haryana To Introduce Ramdev's Yoga For School Students
Students in Haryana will get a chance to learn yoga, as Haryana is planning to introduce Ramdev's yoga in the government schools across the state.

State Education Minister Phool Chand Mullana said he was keen to introduce the yoga classes from this session itself.

Mullana, who attended Ramdev's yoga training camp at the industrial city of Faridabad on Sunday, said that consultations would be held with the spiritual guru to train teachers and also hold special sessions for school children.

The minister's plans include sending physical training teachers and sports teachers to train at the yoga camps of Ramdev.

The teachers would then impart yoga training to the hundreds of students in their respective schools during the morning assembly, he said.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda attended the yoga guru's camp at Hardwar recently along with Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.

The yoga expert features on several TV channels and has helped popularise yoga across the country.
