Is being out of control, 'in'? A new report by the American Medical Association has left its readers tipsy with reports of college girls and their wild (s) ways!
A survey of 644 female college students has revealed that breaking out of control and going really berserk is their take on having fun in life. Three out of four women seem to get drunk and use this excuse for outrageous behavior- spring break drinking meant bingeing on booze, getting them all sick and drunk. And nearly 40% just don’t recall what happened in their inebriated state.The AMA is driving a point home to these wild women, who could do well to temper it down. AMA President Dr. J. Edward Hil has said "Scientific evidence shows women process alcohol differently, putting them at greater risks for heart problems, reproductive disorders and liver disease.These survey results are extremely disturbing because it brings up an entirely new set of issues including increased risk of sexually transmitted diseases, blackouts and violence."
