Circumcision, Will Have To Wait

Chicago: An 8 year old boy's impending circumcision has been postponed after his father raised an opposition to it, leading the county judge to put a hold on the circumcision plan, till the time it is thrashed out in the court.

According to the mother, doctors have recommended this procedure to keep infection at bay, though her ex-husband has termed it an "unnecessary amputation." Unfortunately, no published U.S opinions are available for reference. Routine neonatal circumcision is no longer recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
