Foods produced organically have better health value

Latest research shows that foods grown organically have better health value. Besides being zero in the harmful chemicals of pesticides and insecticides they increase the nutritional value of food.

The study is in the infancy. Around the globe research is being done in this field.

Pesticides and insecticides leave harmful chemicals over food surface and cause health problems to humans. Diseases like cancer, hypertension, diabetes and others are enhanced due to ingestion of foods high in these harmful chemicals.

This causes a great loss to human health and an Indian study says that it has found pesticide residues in the blood of farmers of Punjab state.

So it is high time we realise the importance of alternative methods and avoid using insecticides and pesticides
