Drugs are taken ignoring the drug labels

There is a great concern as more people are taking over the counter drugs without reading the drug labels for its content, dosage and side effects. Mostly people take pain relievers like ibuprofen and aspirin without consulting their doctor or the combination of drugs.

People take over the counter drugs to relieve their symptoms; they take a combination of drugs for pain relief, cough and cold symptoms which may lead to wrong combination of drugs which could lead to misuse of medications.

Cough syrups are just taken without reading the drug contents or side effects of the drug which could lead to severe side effects and complications and report says that more than 30% of people take drugs over the counter drugs for pain and other mild symptoms.
