28 million Britons to take telephonic hearing test

The Royal National Institute of Deaf People with collaboration with Trade Union Congress has launched a Sound Breaking Campaign which aims at checking the hearing capacity of 28 million people in United Kingdom through a telephonic conversation test. It is estimated that more than 4 million people in United Kingdom may have some kind of hearing impairment and has to be treated which requires early diagnosis.

The test which was started on Christmas day on an average as 5,500 callers/day and the test takes about 5 minutes and has to be answered through a keypad and the test can be taken by dialing the phone number: 0845-600-55-55.
