A new device that can bring relief to people who snore and suffer from sleep apnoea (a condition where breathing stops during sleep) has been developed. The device is named as 'aveoTSD' and is the result of an 8 years research project .
Sleep apnoea is related to a range of problems from high blood pressure and diabetes to depression, not to mention the strife and misery caused by snoring partners.The device is like using a dummy that makes the snorers sleep like a baby. It costs only a fraction of expensive sleep masks and can be prescribed by a doctor without the need to visit a specialist. It is similar to buying a new pair of shoes and getting used to them.
The device is reported to have a 90 percent success rate in clinical trials and was also tried in patients who have been administered general anaesthetics and in emergency departments for patients having trouble breathing.
People who have been using the device feel that it is a boon to their problem and claim that it has changed their lives. The device has much more to offer to those for patients with sleep disorders.
