Apollo Hospitals Collaborates With Histostem For Stem Cell Therapy

Apollo Hospital to set up Stem cell therapy centers through out India with collaboration from Histostem Inc., Histostem is an American Company Delaware Corporation. It has one of the largest public blood banks in the world with 55,000 umbilical cord blood stem cells, which is being used for various genetic treatments.

The Apollo group of hospitals will train doctors and nurses with the help of Histostem to provide stem cell therapy to patients. The team will help in developing protocols and also help in developing new treatments. Research in the field of stem cell therapy will also be undertaken in all the centers in India.
