FDA Certifies Novel ADHD Drug

Washington - The FDA has permitted the use of a new drug to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The drug known as Vyvanse, is manufactured by Shire PLC.

The company hopes that patients can have a smooth transition from the older ADHD medications to Vyvanse.

The company has further confirmed that the present drug is promising because it is difficult to abuse. The effect of this drug is best realized only when it is swallowed.
