Doctors here have surgically removed female reproductive organs from the body of a man who is serving sentence for rape.
"Along with male reproductive organs, we also found a uterus and ovaries and removed them. Both these organs have been sent for tests to rule out tumour," said R.K. Sharma, the doctor who conducted the operation late Saturday."This is a very rare case and so far only 43 such cases have been found in the world," said Anil Malhotra, another doctor at the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC). The patient is in his 20s.
