Pink of health: Breast Cancer Awareness Takes on Color and Vibrancy
The fight against breast cancer is gaining momentum, being the National Breast Cancer awareness month. Pink being associated with femininity and a favorite color of many women, is chosen as the brand color to raise funds that will assist the fight against breast cancer. Many women, ailing from breast cancer are fighting for their life.

To increase breast cancer awareness and raise funds to take the initiatives forward, many famous brands have launched a series of advertising campaigns. This campaign epitomizes the liberated woman, who engages in shopping, takes decisions on purchases and certainly understands the lives of many of her ilk, in the grips of this disease.

Charlotte's Belk store chain, S.C. mill Springs Global, American Airlines and Yoplait yogurt are among the many who have launched ad campaigns of their brands; a part of the sale proceeds will go to a group dedicated to the breast cancer cause. These initiatives have been extremely fruitful in the past few years, generating many millions of dollars to disseminate and create awareness of breast cancer.
