
The condition of Meghalaya health minister E D Marak, who was hospitalised here yesterday with symptoms of Malaria, was improving today, doctors said.
'Marak's temparature has now become normal, so is his blood pressure. His condition is improving,' Superintendent of state-run civil hospital Dr B Garod told PTI here.

Marak was hospitalised yesterday morning with temparature and symptoms of Malaria after returning from a visit to the Malaria-prone Garo Hills on Saturday. The health minister accomapnied Chief Minister J D Rymbai on his maiden two-day tour to West Garo Hills district town Tura.
On July five, Marak had told the Assembly that Malaria claimed 40 lives in Meghalaya this year.
