Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd today said it has allotted 61,716 equity shares upon conversion of 1,000 Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds into equity shares by FCCB holders.
The committee of directors at their meeting held today allotted 61,716 equity shares of Rs five each of the company at a premium of Rs 724.30 per share upon conversion of FCCBs of 1000 dollar each, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.Consequently, the paid up equity share capital has increased to 18.60 crore with equity shares of Rs 5 each, it said.
The shares of the company engaged in the manufacture of speciality pharmaceuticals closed at Rs 685, down 3.43 per cent at the BSE.
