Medical And Engineering Students Take Out Rally

Medical and engineering students today took out a rally here to oppose the Centre's decision to implement 27 per cent reservation to OBC in higher educational institutions.

The students of Raipur Medical College Hospital, Dental College and engineering colleges today took out a rally and visited the Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur Engineering College and other important places of the city to convey their message against the reservation.

The students also held a protest meeting at historic Jaistambh chowk, located in the heart of the city, and condemned the union government's decision.

The Raipur Medical College students are on indefinite strike from May 14 against the reservation policy.
