According to a recent health study, one out of four Victorians is obese.
From a survey of more than 3600 people, alarmingly one out of four suffer from hypertension and one in three has high cholesterol, the study revealed.
"Victoria has a lot of work to do, and I don't think we're any different from other states or other countries in the western world with the challenge we face with diabetes, the challenge we face with heart disease, the challenge we face with our diet," researchers said.
This can be attributed to bad diet and lifestyle. Most Victorians consume too few vegetables and foods with high salt content.
