Viagra may Have a New Competitor in the Form of Oxytocin
Viagra could have a major competitor on its hands after researchers from University of California claimed that hormone Oxytocin was as sexually arousing to men as the blue pill.
Oxytocin is a hormone that is normally used in women to induce labor. However researchers from University of California found that two puffs a day of a nasal spray containing oxytocin improved both the libido and sexual performance in men.

The researchers tested the effect of the hormone among men and found that apart from them being more “affectionate” towards their friends, the hormone also improved the libido from weak to strong and arousal from difficult to easy.

“These findings support trials directly examining the use of oxytocin to treat problems in this vital aspect of human function, especially in the context of stable, loving relationships”, the researchers wrote in their report.
