Usher's Scent is Available for Public to Smell

R&B pop singer Usher marked the launch of his twin scents for men and women with a bash at Cipriani on Sept 25, 2007.

When the singer was asked about his product, Usher revealed its USP.

"It's sophisticated for a woman and confident for a man," New York Daily News quoted Usher, as saying.

The singer also said that when he created his own perfume, he forgot all the other fragrances.

"As soon as I created my own, I forgot all the others," he said.

As for wife Tameka Foster, well she believes that she helped inspire his creations.

"I believe I helped inspire them," Tameka said.

Beyonce, who is the face of Emporio Armani Diamonds, a rival fragrance, found the fragrance of the perfume beautiful and sexy.

"It's beautiful. It's very feminine, very sexy," Beyoncé said.

Martha Stewart, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly and Gayle King also attended the perfume launch.

Veronica Homer and Maria Sewell, from the perfume counter of the Brooklyn Macy's were very excited with the sale of the product.

"We've sold 9,000 of them in two weeks. And everyone wants the big bottles," Homer said.
