A US gossip magazine, which got tired of waiting for Duchess Kate to show a baby bump, took matters into its own hands and simply photoshopped one in a recent photo. On Star magazine's October 1 cover a smiling Duchess of Cambridge is shown at a Diamond Jubilee appearance on September 11 in Singapore, holding a wine glass and with her other hand on top of her bumped-up belly.
Having already reported various times that the Duchess was pregnant, the magazine also upped the baby-count, announcing that she is expecting twins.
According to gossip site Celebuzz, the magazine has retouched the photo and enlarged the slender 30-year-old's midsection.
"When put side by side with the original, untouched image of Middleton, distinct differences materialise," Stuff.co.nz quoted the site as claiming.
"Not only has is her floral slim-fit frock been mysteriously blown out - photoshopped in magazine parlance - but Prince William's wife is mysteriously missing her right-hand ring on Star's "It's Twins!" cover.
"There's one glaring detail that gives away Star's photo doctoring: as compared to the real snap, a far smaller portion of the Duchess' left forearm is visible on the magazine cover," it added.
