A couple from Tucson, Arizona, have tied the knot 18 times in places like Scotland, the Bahamas and Maui, among others, in an attempt to keep to romance alive in their marriage.

According to Arizona Daily Star, when Roberta O'Key and Chris O'Key went on their first honeymoon, they decided to get married every year after Roberta made a casual comment wishing they could replicate newlywed bliss year by year.

The couple, who will soon celebrate their 19th anniversary, recite different vows every year in front of a pastor and sometimes a photographer.

Every year Roberta buys a new wedding gown and rings, and they always cut a miniature wedding cake with pineapple filling.

Chris told the publication that it has been an incredible ride and joy so far and every time feels like the first time.
