 Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda Asks People Not to Panic Over Rise in Swine Flu Cases
Union Health Minister of India J.P. Nadda has asked the people not to panic over the rise in swine flu cases in the first two weeks of January. He said, "We have to be cautious, alert about it but need not to get panic. The virus of swine flu is activated and that is why very much prevalent in the atmosphere."
The minister also said that the hospitals have got all the facilities and that the health ministry is ready to tackle the situation. Nadda said, "Our hospitals have got adequate arrangements for it, adequate medicines are there."

He also appealed to people that a patient found with any symptoms of swine flu should be admitted to the hospital as soon as possible. Reportedly, a 51 year old woman from Ghaziabad died of multiple organ failure at Delhi's Ganga Ram hospital, after testing positive for swine flu.
