A recent survey conducted in UK has shown that being close to a pub seems to be a hot preference for Brit men, while choosing a neighbourhood, much more than being closer to a school.
More than one in five said a proper local was their priority in a neighbourhood - against 15 per cent plumping for a school.

After a keen observation, two Indiana University professors have found that the more alcohol sales sites in a neighbourhood, the more violence occur in premises surrounding it.

The opposite was true for the women, with a quarter picking a school and 12 per cent a pub.
The survey conducted by Royal Mail also revealed that young buyers would rather stay close to home, while one in ten would prefer to settle abroad - mostly either in Australia or Spain.
