Hannover 96 midfielder Franca is unwell and is right now being treated for tuberculosis. The club's website has said that due to his condition, he will not be playing for many months.
It was in January that Franca moved to the Bundesliga outfit from Coritiba and unfortunately after the move, he has not been able to play a single competitive match.

"I'm sorry for Franca, but the most important thing now is that he recovers. We wish him the best in his recovery, he's in good hands," said the club's sports manager, Jörg Schmadtke.
The doctors feel that Franca contracted the infection while touring outside the country. The club on its part is ensuring other coaching and playing staff are being checked for the disease and adequate precautions are being taken to avoid a potential spread.
