Trader Joe's Butter Chicken With Basmati Rice Recalled

U.S. and Canadian officials have announced the recall of nearly 4,865 pounds of frozen butter chicken and rice which were meant for Trader Joe's stores after fears of potential listeria contamination.

The U.S. Agriculture Department's Food Safety and Inspection Service has been cautioning the public about a recall being conducted by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Aliya's Foods Ltd for frozen butter chicken and rice products imported from Canada.

Lethal Nut-Based Diet Product Recalled In Australia
A nut-based diet product has been recalled around Australia after it was discovered that the product was poisonous and possibly lethal.

12.5-ounce boxes of Trader Joe's Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice with product code 2012-10-31 and lot code 30512 have been recalled.

Nearly Nineteen cartons of product have been stopped in their tracks at the distribution center. Trader Joe's has given a directive to the stores to take the recalled item off the shelf.
