Mike Sullivan is pinning all his hopes on a radical surgery for the treatment of his Tourette’s syndrome and is looking forward to resuming his job

Doctors at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery are currently conducting trials for the novel surgery that involves insertion of electrodes in the brain in order to send electric impulses to stimulate the brain and stop the damaging signals.
“I suffer from involuntary arm and head movements. I stick my tongue out and make noises such as squeaks, but I don’t swear. I have pinned all my hopes on this operation”, he said.
