Singer Toni Braxton fired back at U.S. tabloid reports when she came across rumours that she has breast cancer.
The singer was reacting to reports published in the National Enquirer last week, and which spread online.

She insisted that she is fine and not suffering from breast cancer.
"There has been a rumour circulating that I have been diagnosed with breast cancer," Contactmusic quoted Braxton, as saying.
"After feeling something uncomfortable in my left breast, I went in for a screening. I was very fortunate that they did not find anything and I am in great health."

Braxton however hopes that the story will persuade women who have been holding off cancer checks to take their annual tests.
"I encourage women to take their annual tests and suggested precautions to prevent this disease that continues to affect so many women," She added.
