The New Easy Way to Mow Your Lawn - Buy a Goat

Goats are the most eco-friendly lawn mowers and all you need to do is to let it loose on your lawn.

They have a minimal carbon footprint, don't demand wages and don't need any on-the-job training. All they do is follow their natural instincts - nibble and chew on grass and weeds.

Nine goats borrowed from a local farm are keeping 5 acres of a property close to Chelsea Clinton's wedding venue, really well maintained.

The project is costing about 9,000 dollars, but it would cost about 15,000 dollars to hire humans. And thanks to the goats, the property will stay well-manicured right into the fall.

But of course, there's a downside.

"It does smell a little like a barnyard," The New York Daily News quoted Vanderbilt Mansion's Supervisory Park Ranger Allen Dailey as telling Fox News.

"But, you know if we were doing it with weed eaters or weed whackers, there would be combustion from the engines coming up over the hills. So I guess it's just a tradeoff," he added.
