 The ‘Boozing’ Gene
Recent insight from Imperial College has pointed to the presence of a particular gene connected to increasing the risk of boozing or alcohol consumption.

The gene named as "autism susceptibility candidate 2" has also been linked to autism and scientists are curious to understand the functions of this particular gene.

Paul Elliott, a professor at Imperial said, "The difference that this particular gene makes is only small, but by finding it we've opened up a new area of research into the biological mechanisms that control drinking."
