Teamwork may be Boosted by Fun Night-Outs With Colleagues
A new study has said that socializing after office hours with colleagues can serve as a good morale booster for employees. It may also help give way to teamwork and help in developing trust and camaraderie.
On an average, employees in Britain attend three official work functions a year, the Daily Express reported.

In the poll of 2,000 UK workers, 60 percent admitted that they worked harder in the build-up to a business bash, to feel they have earned it.

Four in 10 were eager to find out what their teammates were 'really' like, and had more fun than they expected with colleagues.

"Offices can suffer a lot from internal politics or people who don't make the effort to connect," Ian Cowley said.

"It's good to see that getting to know our co- workers impacts positively on our performance and that a fun office can actually be more productive," Cowley added.
