The twins weighed just 2.2 kg and were joined on the liver. The babies had a serious problem, where one was suffering from serious blood pressure due to increased blood flow from the liver. While the other did not receive enough blood and had low blood pressure.A team of 13 doctors took five hours to separate the twins, as it was very complex with one percent of survival chances. The babies are recovering well at the hospital. They have gained weight and have started to breastfeed.
