Women Waste More Than 100$ on Wrong Shades Of Makeup Every Year
A study conducted by Britain's online store MyVoucherCodes.co.uk reveals that women waste over 76.38 pounds (over $100) every year on wrong shades of makeup products like blusher, bronzer, eyeshadow and lipstick.
< Despite buying an average of 6.2 items in the wrong colours, more than two-fifth women respondents of the study admitted that they never return the products to the shopkeeper. A majority of them said they didn't think they would be allowed to return the products, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"Many people believe that they can't return makeup products, even if it's unused, which isn't the case. Whilst many stores of course won't allow a return on used items, some do; particularly if the incorrect colour match was done in store," said Mark Pearson, Chairman, MyVoucherCodes.co.uk.

"It's vital to try before you buy in this instance. Almost five thousand pounds in a lifetime on wrong colour makeup is an incredibly large amount of money, which can easily be avoided by testing out in natural light - or booking a tester session with a makeup counter," added Pearson.
