A new study by the Sex Education Forum has found that one in three secondary schools in England has sex health clinics that offer condoms, pregnancy tests and morning-after pills to kids. The concern is that some kids are as young as 11 years.
Additionally one in six of all secondary schools in England offer tests for sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia."Many of the young people who are speaking to school nurses about sex are children who wouldn't speak to their own parents, and the fact that they are using the service shows maturity," said spokeswoman for the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations. "It would be wrong for parents to panic."
The report also said that most tests that offer sex health clinics provided condoms or pregnancy tests to pupils.
