A new study has found that a third of men think that women celebrate Christmas with much more fuss than is warranted.
They believe that the festive season would be less rushed, cheaper and stressful if they were in charge.
The findings emerged in a study of 2,000 men for Red Tractor Beef and Lamb.
Half wouldn't bother sending Christmas cards and 40 per cent would rather not visit their in-laws.
The children would help in the kitchen and presents would be bought gift-wrapped.
"Christmas is always fantastic in my house but if I were in charge, celebrations would end up being very different," the Daily Express quoted Will Mellor, the actor and father who stars in BBC Three's comedy White Man Van, as saying.
