Size 10 Woman Shows No Signs of Pregnancy, but Delivers Full-term Baby

For all those nine months, size10 Sophie Aldridge, 20, had no inkling that she was pregnant until she delivered a baby boy after a severe back pain. Lean and thin Aldridge was in for a shock as she had no idea that she was pregnant because she did not have any symptoms during all these nine months- no bump, no weight gain, no cravings, no nausea and she continued to have her menstruation.

Aldridge, who lives with her parents in Dover, Kent, said, “I was due to come on to my period that day so I thought that must have been why I was having such bad pains.”

As she was not aware about her situation, Aldridge continued to enjoy frequent night out with friends and even got drunk right up until the delivery.

Last November, when Aldridge woke up early morning with severe back pains, her mother took her to a doctor who gave her painkillers.

But when the pain didn’t subside even after returning home, her mother called an ambulance to take her to the hospital. In the ambulance when her waters broke, paramedics realised she was in labour.

“The next thing I remember I was in hospital with a baby in my arms. Everything was just so quick I didn’t really have time to gauge what was happening,” said Aldridge.

She was in labour only for 30 minutes.

Everyone was shocked to see her return with a baby from the hospital. She said she had no nappy, clothes or pram for the little Thomas. Her friends and family came forward and donated everything that Thomas needed, she said.
