
A single vaccine could be enough to ward off the threat of a number of allergic diseases including hay fever, asthma and eczema and the vaccine could be available in the market by the end of 2015.
A group of researchers from Zurich's Cytos Biotechnology, have developed a new vaccine, known as CYT003-Qbg10, which helps prevent a number of allergic diseases. The researchers claim that the vaccine is almost as good as steroids in keeping asthma under control.
Human tests have been conducted and were successful and the researchers said that the vaccine should be available in the next four to five years.
