Andre Timberlake-Evans and Maria has been a couple for 12 years.

Their beautiful world was completely shattered after the couple was told that the symptoms experienced by 39-year-old Andre are incurable brain cancer. Though the treatment will take place, the chance of survival is very dim.

After being told that he has only a few months to live, the couple decided to get married and fulfill the dream of walking down the aisle together.

He did not want anything to come in-between precious moments with his wife. ‘I am going to treasure every moment with my new wife,’ he said.

‘My health situation puts things into perspective. It’s like the Titanic, while you’re all having a party and the boat is sinking. But I did forget about that all for just one day.’

The couple got married at a ceremony at Hadley Park Hotel, in Telford, and their son Max, 12, was the ring bearer.
