Royal Baby Due Date Announced

William and Kate's baby could be born on Princess Diana's birthday, reveal sources. Buckingham Palace yesterday announced that the couple's first child is due in July. Diana came into the world on July 1, 1961, the Mirror reported.

Officials also announced that Kate was continuing to feel better following the terrible morning sickness that forced her into hospital in early December.

There is a one in two chance that Prince William will father a ginger-haired baby, according to scientists.

She has had her 12-week scan and is believed to be around 13 or 14 weeks pregnant.

A Palace spokesman said that their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July.

Bookies favour mid-July as a date for the royal birth, but the baby could choose to arrive on July 1.

According to reports, the Duchess of Cambridge, who is expecting her first child with Prince William, maybe pregnant with twins.

The name Diana is also among the bookies' favourite for the baby if it is a girl.
