Rope in Public Representatives for Health Drive: J P Nadda

Union health minister JP Nadda recently said that public representatives can be involved for raising awareness about various schemes under the health ministry.

The minister will be meeting Members of Parliament to seek their views on implementation of one such flagship project, Mission Indradhanush.

Minister of State for Health Santosh Chowdhary said that the central government is fully committed to providing improved health facilities to the people.

"People's representatives can be involved to carry the message of schemes of the government, the best practices evolved and the work undertaken by the different institutions," Nadda said at the 38th annual day celebration of the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW).

He said that public representatives are among the best media to spread messages about government schemes and its benefits to the people.
