Risk of Suffering from Incontinence Increases With Just Two Cups of Coffee Everyday
A new study published in the Journal of Urology reveals men who like to consume multiple cups of coffee every day may have a higher risk of suffering from incontinence problems.
The study was conducted by researchers at Emory University in Atlanta who conducted a survey involving over 4,000 between 2005 and 2008. The researchers found that the men consumed on average 169mgs of caffeine every day, with an average cup of coffee containing 125mgs of caffeine.

Around 13 percent of men admitted to having mild incontinence with just over 4.5 percent saying that they suffered from mild to severe incontinence.

On adjusting for age and other factors, the researchers found that those who consumed over 234mgs of caffeine every day, or less than two cups of coffee per day, were 72 percent more likely to suffer from incontinence.
