Thanks to a surgeon who has developed a revolutionary boob job, silicone implants may soon be a thing of the past.

In the three-hour op, costing from 8,000 pounds, Laurence Kirwan uses the patient's own breast tissue to make boobs fuller.

By doing so, the surgery cuts out the risk of complications from the use of silicone and promises a more natural look that should last a lifetime.

Dr Kirwan, 57, said: "It should help any woman whose breasts have begun to sag. The crucial issue is do they have enough breast tissue lower down which we can move up."

So far, the doc has performed 150 ops and claims the results have been excellent.

Dr Kirwan said: "For a lot of women this will be the ultimate breast enlargement operation that will be almost permanent compared to implants which need replacing after around 10 years."
