He used a Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) was used to magnify solutions one lakh times to spot the particles. He then received more information about their composition and nature using a process called Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS).
"Our study conclusively proves the presence of nanoparticles in all high dilutions of homeopathic drugs. Carbo Vegetabilis 6C to CM potencies were analyzed and studied. The most debated thing about homeopathy is whether its high dilutions really work. This study will remove such misconceptions," Rajendran said.
He added that drugs like Lycopodium and Psorinum were also studied under the FESEM and EDS machines. He will present his study at the two-day World Homeopathy Summit to be held in Mumbai from April 11.
