 Research: 1 in 3 Brits
Researchers say that a third of workforce from Britain keeps an eye out for new job opportunities while more than half are confused about their career progression.
The new study claims that more than three quarters of employees say their bosses don't communicate with them effectively.

The stats have been put together as a result of a study from business performance consultants Lane4, the Daily Mail reported.

Communication in the workplace appears to be an issue too, with nearly nine in 10 reporting they don't get the training and guidance required for their role from management, while over half don't believe they are being communicated to clearly about their own career progression.

More than three quarters also said that their company does not communicate to them effectively, leaving them wanting to know more about the organisation they work for, according to the study of 1,500 UK employees.

Lack of appreciation within the workplace also appears to be a problem.

Almost half of workers feel their current workplace doesn't celebrate - or even communicate - company successes, which would have a positive effect on staff morale if successes were marked more often.

And it could be inter-office relations that lead to communication breakdowns throughout the business, as over a third of workers reported poor dynamics in their team.
