
A safe sex crusade has been launched by British boyband JLS, Jack the Lad Swing, who has unveiled a range of condoms to persuade young people that safe sex is cool.
Each condom packet features a different member of the band, and they are already placing bets on whose will sell out quickest.
"If we can change one person's outlook on sexual health in this country then we will have succeeded," Sky News quoted band member Marvin Humes as saying.
"Hopefully we will have changed thousands of people's outlook," he stated.
Profits are to be put back into their newly established sexual health foundation.
Critics argue there is a contradiction between the excesses of a rock and roll lifestyle and the safe sex message.
"Not at all. For us we're in positions of power and we can influence a generation of young people and therefore we are trying to use our position in the right way," band member Oritse Williams said.
"We recognise we have a responsibility," he added.
