Presence of Glass Forces Nescafe Recall
The presence of glass particles has forced Nestle Canada to recall Nescafe brand espresso instant coffee crystals.
Nestle and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency revealed that consumers must not use the product. The release also added that Nestle was voluntarily recalling the instant coffee crystals, which are sold in 100-gram glass jars with a black sleeve bearing the universal product code number 5500065052

"We will change the packaging format before re-introducing the product to the market," Nestle Canada said. Consumers who have the Espresso product can claim refunds by contacting Nestle Consumer Services at 1-800-387-4636.

The FSA in Britain is also recalling the product.
